Today, Everybody is an Expert in Beauty, Luxury, Care and Lifestyle. Look at the papers and at social media: Everybody is blogging her advice about Fragrances, Interior Decoration, Fashion, Accessories.
Beautiful, luxury goods are available almost everywhere to almost everybody. Every home contains more glamorous accessories than the average billionaire could have dreamed of thirty years ago. Luxury is... well, everywhere. It's become commonplace.

All of this can happen only because Beauty, Luxury and Lifestyle goods are produced, packaged, shipped, distributed, displayed, sold, paid and restocked, thousand times every day.

Beauty comes at the end of a long, complex industrial production process. Which means that luxury goods are also misplaced or mispriced, or lost in transit, or broken, or go unsold, or unpaid.

So, Beauty, Luxury and Lifestyle - Luxe, Calme et Volupté - are in fact largely about the hard job of promoting, shipping, selling, negotiating discounts, calculating currency swings and forecasting credit crunches. In order for luxury goods to be a success, taste and visual talent need to be supported by the ability of managing retailers' and customers' mood swings, or the delays inflicted by a freak epidemic on commercial Christmas.

Beauty is about recruiting and training salesmen; about informing and supporting retailers and assessing their credit score; about managing risk. About bridging gaps between customer expectations and the availability of containers; between the brilliant intuitions of Visual consultants and the delays in the delivery of shelves by a supplier.

Luxury is about bringing down to Earth enthusiastic hopes in the promises of e-commerce, and making it work seamlessly for sellers and Clients alike.

Personal Care and Lifestyle are as much about databases, information, statistics, banks, tax codes, as they are about essences, fine textures and unique colours.

All of the above - the dirty and gritty of Beauty, Luxury and Lifestyle - is our job. The daily, tough job of commercial problem solving.

It has been for 35 years now.

We manage all that for our Clients.

We scout, we prospect, we know the terrain and the tribes, we speak the dialects, we have maps - we chart maps -, we negotiate, we train, teach, sell, plan, program, beg, borrow and - when necessary - kill, in order to bring our Clients' beautiful products to their Customers.
